Kolorseal Ltd was the only colour coating specialist for Astra Windows Ltd, when it came to a large commercial project based in Glossop. Doors, windows and trims as well as fascias were specified in two vibrant colours on phase 1 of a renovation and re-fit by MWD Ltd, that required exact colour matching with a corporate logo.
The 15 year working relationship between independent window and door manufacturer, Astra Windows and Kolorseal, is a true example of a supply chain coming together to provide the highest quality standards on a project that required exceptional attention to detail.
With RAL 2008 Bright red orange and RAL 5017 Traffic blue required to complement each other on a variety of products and within a deadline, it was essential to meet the set criteria for this modernisation project to keep MWD’s client satisfied.
Originally Astra Windows opened its doors in 1989, in Greater Manchester, and it has since gone on to establish a reputation for quality and reliability with domestic and commercial clients in the trade. Consequently, for David Jackson, Director being able to rely upon suppliers to meet quality standards and deadlines is imperative.

In respect of Mark Wakefield Demolition Ltd, Mark Riddell, Site Manager handled all aspects of the installation and together with a small team of contractors, redeveloped the dilapidated building turning it into an ultra modern storage facility for their national customer, Apex Storage.

Today, personalising homes through colour is becoming very important, but equally on commercial projects we have noticed that colour branding is becoming increasingly popular.”
